Faculty/Teacher Emailing and Reminders

This feature allows a teacher to be sent a report of their courses attendance, automatically on a predfined scehdule.

Automated reminders can also be setup if attendance is overdue for a session that a teacher is responsilbe for.



Navigation:



Navigate to Admin -> Attendance Notifications

On the right of the page, the list of existing notifications is shown, along with the option to add a new one: "Add Schedule"

Setting Up a Reminder for Incomplete Attendance

Title - The name of this rule, please use something descriptive to make sure its clear what it is doing.

Description - An outline of what this rule is doing

Schedule - Select the grey box to define how frequently this rule should run

Enabled - Is the rule enabled or not

Test Mode - If this is enabled it will only email alerts to the email address in the "copy emails to" field

Copy Emails to- An optional email address where all alerts can be sent to.

Email Subject - The subject of the email

Email Introduction - The body of the email. Note that the list of incomplete sessions will shows beneath this in the actual email.

Format - This should be set to 'Incomplete Sessions' when using this for automatic attendance reminders.

Attendance From Date: The lookback period start. In the example, its looking back to the start of the current week. It will only ever include currently active courses.

Attendance End data: The lookback period end. In the example, its looking up to the end of the current week. It will only ever include currently active courses.
