Instructor Access to Previous Semesters Attendance
Depending on your enrollment settings for teachers in Canvas, teachers may not be able to access the aPlus+ Attendance LTI for courses that have finished. This is typically an issue if attendance needs to be altered for a previous semester.
Teachers will see this message when they try and access aPlus+ Attendance via the Canvas LTI
Option 1: Teachers can login to Canvas, then in a seperate tab, type in the URL for your admin portal. This is typically the same subdomain as you use for Canvas. For example if your canvas address is customer.instructure.com, then the aPlus+ address will be customer.aplusattendance.com
On the first page of the portal, they should see the list of recent courses, they may also be on the right of the page. Click on the course of interest to complete attendance
Option 2: Alter the teacher access in the term settings for the term in questions. This is the favored change when a large number of teachers need access to a previous semester.
