Kiosks

aPlus+ Attendance supports the use of self check-in kiosks for the collection of attendance for both the Attend Core, and Attend HE (Canvas and stand alone).

Typically, these kiosks are hosted on a laptop, Chromebook, iPad or Raspberry Pi unit.

A scanner may be used to speed up the check in process.

Kiosks can be used in any of the following situations:

  • High flow scanning, where attendees simply scan and keep on moving without touching the kiosk
  • Scanning with reason collection, where attendees can scan and select from a selection, why they are visiting.
  • Manual registration, where attendees enter an identifier manually into the kiosk (ID number, code, email, phone, etc).
