Student Code Entry Log
This feature allows administrators to see a students activity with respect to self-entering codes.
This can be helpful for troubleshooting, or if a student claims to have entered the code, only to find themselves later marked absent.
These logs allow a view of the last 14 days.
Navigate to Admin -> Plug-ins -> "Attendance Codes"
Then select "View Student Code Entry Logs"
Start to type the students' name who you are investigating. The box will autocomplete and allow you to select the matching student.
Also complete the date range that you would like to investigate
Select "Show Activity"
Results will be shown as below
The Access status shows that the student has entered the student portal (but not the code entry sub page), with a count of how many codes are currently available to them. This will typically be 0 if no code windows are currently open, or 1 if a code window is open for a course.
The Access Code Entry shows that the student has entered the code entry sub page of the student portal. The name of the course that they entered the code entry window for is on the right.
Successful Code Entry: The code was successful, and the student was marked accordingly.
Expired: The student made it to the code entry sub page, but the code expired before they entered it.
Incorrect Code: The student made it to the code entry sub page, but the code entered was incorrect
