Importing Student Card Mappings

when using scanners with aplus+, in some cases a number other than the students assigned id number will be received from the scanner this is generally an assigned card scan number this must be mapped to the student in aplus+ in order for the card scan to correctly be associated with the student card mappings can be imported from a 2 column csv file the column names can be anything column one student id column two mapped card scan number navigate to admin > capture > import tags step 1 select the file, or paste the mapping information into the text field for 'match to which student identifier', usually you will select 'student id' as this is the sis student id ext student id is the canvas student id step 2 map the columns from the file to the aplus+ fields student id column must be mapped to 'student identifier (student id)' the card mapping column must be mapped to 'mifare serial number' step 3 preview the import step 4 view the results of the import
