Importing Student Card Mappings

When using scanners with aPlus+, in some cases a number other than the students assigned ID number will be received from the scanner. This is generally an assigned card scan number. This must be mapped to the student in aPlus+ in order for the card scan to correctly be associated with the student.

Card mappings can be imported from a 2 column CSV file. The column names can be anything.

Navigate to Admin > Capture > Import Tags



Step 1 -

Select the file, or paste the mapping information into the text field.

For 'Match to which student identifier', usually you will select 'Student ID' as this is the SIS Student ID. Ext. Student Id is the Canvas Student ID.



Step 2 -

Map the columns from the file to the aPlus+ fields.

Student ID column must be mapped to 'Student identifier (Student ID)'

The Card Mapping column must be mapped to 'Mifare Serial Number'

Preview the import

Step 4 -

View the results of the import.
