overview the student profile page facilitates the editing of student details, tag management, and the viewing of the single students check in history edit student details select "+ modify student details" to expand the students details for editing please take care with this option if your data is sourced from a file or external system as these changes will likely be overwritten be sure to save changes edit student tags select "+ manage students tags" to add, or archive a students tag tags are the identifier that is used by the student, or the scanner, to determine which tag belongs to which student note that in many installations, the tag will automatically populate with the student id when they first check in the means that often this may appear to be blank, without impacting any functionality archived tags are retained so that historical check ins that were used with that tag can still be matched to the student view / add recent scans the recent scans list at the bottom of the page shows all check in activity for a student check ins can be manually added by selecting "manually record scan" note that you may need to manually set the students tag if it is not already set, using the step above for example, if your installation is using the student id as the tag, and the student has not yet used a kiosk then you will need to manually set the tag to the students id in order to add a scan manually the location can then be selected along with the desired date and time of the scan note only locations that have had check ins using the kiosks, will be available delete scans please see the scans/check in page scans / check ins page docid\ sgpv4zjnvyh1t z xq5mq
